This insect trap is an agricultural insect trap developed in collaboration with the Taoyuan District Agricultural Improvement Station, a government agency under Taiwan's Ministry of Agriculture, and a light source manufacturer. It uses a light source that emits wavelengths preferred by insects in the range of 350-550nm (UV-A to green light) along with a photocatalyst.
